About the Dress

Exquisite Monique Lhuiller "Alexandra". The Alexandra is one of the classics and timeless ballgowns from Monique Lhuillier Capsule Collection. This was my dreamed designer dress and I felt incredible beautiful, confident and extremely comfortable all day long.
It is a stunning dress with a super flattering A-line fit. The lace is truly gorgeous and photographs beautifully. Although the skirt has a bit of volume it is very light and easy to pack/carry. Delicate lace with boning on the top corset which gives a very nice shape. The dress and lining are white and it was ordered without boning on the skirt.
The dresses has the original length so it can be shortened if necessary. The fabric allows alterations in or out. A beautiful bolero was created with the original fabric from ML and attached perfectly to the inside bodice. See the above picture of the back of the dress and how it blends seamlessly from the zipper to the little pearl buttons all the way up to the neck. Exquisite sexy back.
Bolero can be easily detached and use as strapless.
The original measurements from ML size chart are for a size 6:
Bust 35.5/Under Bust 28.5/Waist 27/Hips 38. It was altered 1/2 an inch on both sides of the waist.

The attached bolero is an exact copy of the one sold by MLhullier for $2400
I ordered the fabric from ML ($750) and a bridal seamstress created the same exact one even with the flower designs placed in the exact same position as the MLhuillier
If desired the bolero can be easily taken off
The dress was taken in just a bit at the waist but the material was left inside to be taken out if necessary
Nothing else was altered
Original length was kept
