The Dress
Still in love with this dress over a year later! It made me feel beautiful, sexy, AND comfortable. I find the antique ivory color with pewter accents to be unique in a subtle way, and love the illusion bust and back. The dress has been professionally cleaned and does not show signs of wear; the added bustle is even still intact after running through fields and dancing the night away.
Alterations
The dress has been taken in below the arms and at the hips. The straps were shortened and the dress was hemmed. An early alteration hemmed the train unevenly, but a different, highly-skilled seamstress ensured the sides were even (so the train is more narrow than when purchased, but this would not be noticeable to anyone).
