Absolutely everybody who saw this dress made a point of saying how beautiful it is. I am very proud to be the third person to wear it (all brides still very happily married!), a testament to the quality and timelessness and I just can't let it languish under a bed. It is still immaculate.
Sharon Bowen Dryden is a leading light in alternative and cutting edge bridal styles, featuring in London Fashion Week and other high end events.
Very classic A-Line, V-neck and back. The skirt is two layers of tulle fabric with a striking hemline on the top layer, plus an ivory silk underskirt The train is chapel length, very light and moves well, it was not cumbersome to wear.
The bodice is beautifully embroidered with roses and green leaves, and sewn with clusters of silver beads and lines under the bust and at the waist, the shoulders are sewn with the tiniest silver beads. The back mirrors the front and fastens with hooks and buttons and a long invisible zip down the back. It is a very deep, elegant V neck (I wear 30FF, so it's very flattering) everything stayed in place without tape etc.
It travelled perfectly to the South of France for the wedding in the car boot.
Honestly, the dress is stunning.
