The Dress

I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. I felt like it was the perfect mix of romantic and pretty. It was super figure flattering but easy to wear, and the sleeves just added a gorgeous detail. Can also do long sleeves, I just didn;'t wear them on the day.

Here is the wording from the website "A super-fitted trumpet gown with a wow-worthy effect. Incredible hand-embroidered floral appliques decorate the strapless semi-illusion bodice with cutout details and magnificent detachable tulle baloon sleeves add solemnity. Lace appliques trickle down the body-hugging mermaid skirt that features a gorgeous chapel train in semi-transparent floral lace".

Dress measurements:
Bust to bust across is 39cm
Waist across is 33cm
Hips are 41cm across the widest part
Top to bottom measuring from just in front of the armpit to the bottom 149cm.

My current measurements are 70.5waist, 91 hips, and 85bust.
I think I was a hit smaller when I got married (maybe just a pound or so) but it would still fit me now.
I am 172cm tall, and I wore 4cm heels, and I wore it quite long trailing style. It could def have been shortened, and the tailor told me she could shorten it very easy if needs be, but she never did. I’m a size 8 here in NZ also for reference
Also to note the corset style top makes it super easy to make the top smaller or bigger without exact alterations, which I found super helpful on the lead up to the wedding.

It has come up absolutely perfect after dry cleaning, bar one small discoloured flower and one frayed flower edge on the very bottom front of the dress (shown in picture). Very very hard to see up unless up close and would be gone if hemmed at all.
