The dress is made of Pearl Mikado, which is a Japanese style silk. The shiny finish of the dress really makes the matte floral appliques on the bodice and train pop! There are also fabric covered buttons from the top all the way down to the hem of the long train which makes the dress feel very elegant (they are faux buttons that hide a back zipper).
We got married in city hall and had our reception at an outdoor venue amongst the redwoods; the modern but classic style of this dress made it easy to transition from one venue to the next.
The built in boning and waist stay made me feel secure in the dress all night long. PLUS, this dress had pockets so I was able to keep some snacks on hand to prevent getting haangry!
I loved this dress and hope another bride can enjoy it as much as I did.
The dress was professionally dry cleaned and stored in an acid free box by Wedding Gown Preservation Co.

- The back was altered -- removed triangular portions of straps to create a more open back design
- The dress is hemmed to for a total height of 5'4"
- 5 bustles were added to the back of the dress which made it great for dancing and walking between venues! The way it is bustled still shows off the lace of the train and all the fabric covered buttons!
