This was such a fun wedding dress. I was its second owner, but first wearer. I won't wear it again, so I would love for someone else to have the pleasure of wearing it for their special day.

The beaded and sequinned bodice is stunning and very unique. It features many butterflies and flowers. According to the Needle and Thread website, many of their beads and sequins are up cycled.

I believe the original value of the dress would have been somewhere between $800-1500AUD based on the price of their current bridal and formalwear dresses.

I only wore it for a few hours for the ceremony and changed into another dress for our reception. I am 172cm without shoes and wore approximately 5cm heels with the dress. With the heels the length was just off the ground.

There is minimal damage to the beading from wear, but it is hard to see and could be easily fixed if you felt motivated to do so. I'm happy to send through extra photos of specific spots that I have noticed if you would like to see. I have had it dry cleaned, so it is clean and ready to wear.

Alterations

The original owner had the bodice altered so that it was smaller (I can't see anything obvious) and I managed to fit into it well being a 10DD, so it should fit up to that size
I had the zipper at the back altered slightly (taken out by about 1cm) to make it fractionally less skin-tight so it wouldn't bother me
It originally had a hook and eye closure and invisible zip
I believe it could easily be taken back in and have a hook and eye put on if you need or would like that
