About the Dress

This stunning Oscar De La Renta bridal gown is truly beautiful. It is a perfect bridal sample size 8, which fits me (size S-M / 8-10). It is a sample from the NY showroom, unaltered and never worn for a wedding day. It has been gently worn for try ons and a photoshoot for the consignment store I purchased the dress from (pictured).

It is incredibly flattering, with a fitted bodice that is very contemporary, with graceful sleeves and the iconic Oscar De La Renta trumpet silhouette. Silk faille fabric is light and easy to move in. The style number is #44N30 0838. I was truly blown away by the level of craftsmanship and intricacy of the bodice on the dress, it's unlike anything else I have tried on. A truly high end designer gown.

The colour is a gorgeous creamy ivory, a lovely off white which becomes brighter in the sunlight.

Only flaws to note: a simple stitch on the layered gathered sleeve on one side will need re-doing in alterations, I also unintentionally let out a couple of stitches on the zip on the bum due to it being a bit tight (oops!). There are some minor scuffs on the hem which the consignment store I purchased from suggested just needs a dry clean. These are all things that will be fixed during your alterations & with a dry clean. My price is reflective of this, but I am also open to negotiations.
