A little about the designer:Austin Scarlett is a New York designer whose work has been described as “magic” and “a tour de force” (The New York Times), “worthy of a goddess” (Elle), “technically innovative and aesthetically sublime” (Madame Figaro) and he is a “bright young thing” (Artforum).

A bit about the dress' history:

Austin Scarlett's used wedding dresses are currently selling for more than $2K because he stopped making wedding dresses so what is in circulation is all that is available. If you like simplistic drama (simple in the front and dramatic in the back), then this dress is for you.

I bought this dress at NY's Kleinfeld bridal boutique during a sample sale and spent more than $2K myself. Originally, the dress retails for over $6800. It is a trumpet style dress with a dramatic back.

This dress has been worn once and was professionally dry cleaned.

My measurements at the time of wearing the dress were: 34"/ 34.5” bust (I was a 32F), 28" waist, 38" hip. I am 5 ft" and wore 5" heels. The dress was hemmed and altered to my measurements. I recommend someone who is the same size or smaller buy the dress.

I have altered the top of the Victoire dress to be similar to the Augusta style top (see pic) with a bit more of a sweetheart style. Also, a professional bridal seamstress added a heavy duty zipper to the back so you can get in and out of the dress easy but I HIGHLY recommend that you consider changing it to a corset back to give the perfect fit.
