This dress was the one splurge I allowed myself for my wedding--and gosh, was she worth it! I did my own hair and makeup, my family and I picked the flowers for my bouquet together, my husband and his friend catered the event, and we found an affordable cabin rental for the ceremony. I wouldn't change a thing: I am so happy I put my money toward the dress, and I am excited for someone else to fall in love with her, too.

In this dress, I felt so gorgeous and comfortable at the same time. The lining is soft and stretchy, so the dress fit my body perfectly without making me feel self-conscious. My body changed between the time I got engaged and the day we got married, and I was so worried I would not be able to find a dress I felt good in; I felt effortlessly beautiful in this dress.

One of my favorite details of the dress is how the sheer fabric with the lace over the cream-colored lining gives dimension to the look. The design of the lace is flattering and echos the shape of the body. I like that the lining on the top is cut so that it goes in at the waist (so there is more sheer lace in that area)--the shape is so flattering! The cups are lined, structured and supportive, though they were a little big on me (I'm a 32C/34B); I tried on a number of different underwear options and ended up going with a white lacy control top, but even the bright red ones I tried underneath didn't show through.

Throughout the day, I did my best to care for the dress. My sister bustled and unbustled it multiple times so that I did not drag the train around. I did my makeup before putting it on. And I wore my apron over it while we ate dinner. I love this dress, and I hope that you will love her, too.
