The Dress

This classically romantic dream dress is searching for the perfect pear shaped beauty to be it's bride. This Willowby by Watters Cameron Tiered-Sleeve Off-Shoulder Mesh Column Wedding Gown was purchased brand new from Bhldn at Anthropologie in Los Angeles this past Fall. It has had over $200 in alterations to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back. (The bride was full of love, and love handles, so she needed the extra cinching and loosening that only a corset back can provide).

This is not your average boring plus-sized wedding dress. The dress features romantically layered puff sleeves, fine mesh detailing, a flattering bodice, off-the-shoulder sexiness, and a beautiful flowing full skirt perfect for dancing in the moonlight. This dress would fit brides sized 20-24, as the corset allows for a lot of wiggle room, the bride pictured wears an 18-22 in everyday clothing. The bride paired her gown with a strapless push up bra and Betsy Johnson Diva Rhinestone Booties. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned for $450, but has some light stains from flower petals that were tossed on the interior (not visible when worn).

I have received so many compliments on this dress. The Cameron Wedding Gown is unique, romantic, and whimsical. It was the perfect day and the perfect dress.
