The Dress

For any petite brides out there! I got married in December 2023 in the Cora dress by Justin Alexander. Fit-and-flare style with a plunging V-neck and open-scoop back styled with a matching chiffon cape that is included in this listing! The dress is mostly crepe with lace appliqués so it feels like it sucks you in in the all the right places, while the lace draws the eye away from say, your stomach, and adds visual interest.

SIZE: 8 (I'm approximately [removed]C bra, 27 jean / 4 pant in Madewell, S top in Madewell)

CONDITION: Both dress and cape were professionally cleaned not long after the wedding and have no visible stains / marks. Cape has a small run (2nd to last pic) and some threads are coming out of the end (last pic) but won't be noticeable during your wedding / photos. Otherwise, cape is in fantastic condition (ordinarily retails for $400).

COMFORT: Extremely comfortable - I was able to squat, dance, and otherwise move freely. It felt like athleisure leggings - holds you in, tightens everything up without feeling suffocating. Note: I wore Honeylove shapewear and the waistband sadly showed through the crepe in some photos (see 1st pic; that horizontal crease is the shapewear, not the dress).

Alterations

The only size-related alterations made to this dress were the hem - everything else fit just right. I'm 5'3 so we took the dress up several inches so it would just skim the floor when I put on my Loeffler Randall Dahlia Pleated Bow Heel (heel height 2 inches). Also added a 3-point bustle that is still fully functional.
