Mariana Hardwick, Rose Gown

Selling my beloved Rose Gown by Mariana Hardwick, which is a strapless ballgown with finely draped bodice, scooped neckline, and layered petal skirt with split. I wore it to my wedding in September 2023 and felt amazing.

Originally purchased from Bloom Bridal Brisbane and it was made at Mariana Hardwick in Melbourne. You can now only buy Mariana Hardwick direct from Melbourne and the wait time is 12+ months.

The dress was ordered as a size 10, however I had over $1,300 worth of alterations done prior to the wedding, so it fits more of a size 8-10. I am 165cm tall without shoes and wore heels on the day with a heel height of 100mm (4 inches). The dress' hem was shortened to be exactly floor length. Other alterations I had done includes reshaping the front bodice so it has a slight v shape, included a modesty stitch in the split, added 2 white hooks and 2 crotchet loops to cover the zip at the back and added a hand loop to make dancing easier.

I only wore the dress at the Calile Hotel so it was never on grass. I have spent $450 getting it professionally dry cleaned – this dress is in perfect condition.
