The Dress
Mikado Gown with Beaded Illusion Back
Structured Mikado V-neckline with seaming at the waist. Box pleats create volume and the hand beaded illusion back adds a unique element.
This dress was perfect for our wedding and super elegant with the beautiful beaded back.
I am a size ten and 5’6, I wore 3/4inch heels and the length was just right.
It has been professionally dry cleaned and looks good as new. (see last photo after clean)
Alterations
Cathedral length has been slightly shortened but as you can see from the pictures is still long enough to give that dramatic effect.
We also added cups, so no bra was needed but these can be removed.
A small belt was also added to the front of the dress as you can see from the photos for a small bit of detailing, again this could be removed.
Their is one very small minor repair to one of the tuelle underlayers which cannot be seen.
