Purchased the dress brand new, only ever wore it to try it on twice, it has never been altered. The measurements listed are MY personal body measurements and not that of the actual dress. I am typically a size 16-18 in regular clothes, the dress is a 14. Keep in mind if I had went with this dress I would have only needed to alter the bust size and a hem, other than that it fit perfectly. It is a beautiful dress, the detail is exquisite.
