I love this dress and felt amazing in it on my wedding day. I purchased the dress from The Bride in St Albans who are a premium stockist of Suzanne Neville and it’s a custom combination of two of their designs, Sapphire and Ralston. The top is the Sapphire design, which seamlessly flows into the Ralston skirt, which is princess cut creating an elongated look, that’s extra flattering! The dress is also made from Mikado silk and the interior of the dress has the signature Suzanne Neville hidden corset which makes you feel so secure and pulls you in for the whole time you're wearing it.
It is super flattering and feels very secure - no slipping or adjusting needed throughout the day and the things I loved most included:
1. The off the shoulder style is so flattering and the flare is slightly below the hip line, it creates a stunning hourglass effect - does wonders for your figure!
2. There is vertical piping lining the mid-section which creates this corset effect on the inside. It sucks you in in all the right places and feels very secure. You won't need to worry about hiking it up throughout the night!
3. There are beautiful satin buttons down the back.
4. Ties have been added under the dress for a French style bustle, for hitching up the dress in the evening and a layer of tulle can be removed (I have a video that shows you how to do this)
The dress was made to measure but I typically wear Size 10/12 top and size 12 bottoms in most clothes, and I am 5ft2 and wore 4-inch heels on the day (measurements below). It has been professionally dry cleaned through The Bride and stored in the original dress bag. There are no marks or discolouring.
