The Dress

A fitted, semi-sheer mermaid gown with light 3D embroidered flowers over silk tulle combines with elegant off-the-shoulder straps, a low illusion back, and sheer inserts on the sides that flow into a dramatic caviar tulle train.

The dress is currently in the dry cleaners and will be ready in 4 weeks.

I don’t have exact measurements at the moment as I have gained some weight since wearing the dress and I cannot measure the dress until it returns from the dry cleaners. I was however around a size 8 and had an excellent seamstress based in London that has confirmed she can bring the dress a size up or two and also make the dress smaller. I can pass on her number to the person buying this dress.

I also purchased the Galia Lahav veil and had the same individual flowers added to match the dress. The veil was worth £800 plus the cost of adding the detailing. I am happy to give you the veil with the sale of the dress :).

I am 5ft 4inches and I wore 5 inch heels so the dress is roughly 5ft 9.

I wore a 32C bra.

Alterations

The dress had an extra layer of light fabric across the front panel to make it less see through.

I also had padding added to the bra so no bra was needed on the day.

I had extra boning added around the body to keep the dress fitting perfectly all day. Lots of extra flowers were added all over the body of the dress as well as the veil.

The off the shoulder sleeves were shortened to fit perfectly.

All of this can be removed or changed by the seamstress I used.
