The iconic Long Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence – the corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th century, and the draped fabric which sweeps across the shoulders, drapes, and falls from the hip, is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.

Fabric: 100% heavy silk satin.

It has a fitted and boned bodice/corset, and beautiful heavy silk-satin fabric in Ivory.

The straps can sit off-shoulder and can be tacked by your seamstress to drape as you like.

It is true to size and a labeled size US 6/UK 10.

Professionally Dry Cleaned

I purchased this dress at LOHO Bride in Los Angeles. I instantly loved the dress when I saw it and bought the sample in the store. The dress is professionally dry-cleaned. I intended to wear it as my reception dress. I ended up losing too much weight and wanted to go in a different direction. The measurements posted are the measurements I had when I purchased the dress. My measurements now are Bust-32.5" Waist: 26.5" Hips: 36.5" and the dress still looks good on me.

I never altered the dress in its original state. It truly is a beautiful dress.

The dress has been in the garment bag so it will need steaming.

There are a couple of slight flaws:

1) a couple of tiny pulls in the fabric that are only visible if you look up close
2) The back zipper cover is pulling. I discussed this with the seamstress and it can easily be fixed.
