The Dress

Selling my Stella York ballgown wedding dress in Ivory Style 7424 beading color Silver. This is a gorgeous beaded bodice and flowy handkerchief style skirt and I wore this on my elopement day as well as at a larger ceremony/reception with family. It was professional dry cleaned both times so it has been cleaned and pressed and is ready to be worn by another bride! I got SO many compliments on this dress and felt like an absolute princess.

One pic shows the back of the dress bustled - the bustling is a little tricky due to the many layers of fabric but I have a really handy diagram that my seamstress drew explaining how to bustle the dress. If you have any issues I can also send a video that my sister took at my fitting showing how to bustle it.

I will also include a fingertip length veil from Bel Aire Bridal Veil v7631 in Ivory which is a one tier fingertip length veil featuring crystals and pearls ($200 originally) that matches the bodice. The last two pics show the veil. And I will include the heavy duty garment bag that I purchased from the bridal shop to keep it protected as well as a wooden hanger showing "Bride" that is photographed.

The dress itself is in really amazing condition - the professional dry cleaning did wonders and the signs of wear are on the bottom of the skirt where the tulle has in some spots torn a little or bunched up from dragging on the ground. I want to be super transparent about this since buying a wedding dress online requires a lot of faith! I have a lot more pics but am limited to 8 so feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. There are no signs of staining on the hem - the only signs of wear on this dress are those raw tulle layers right at the bottom where they drag against the ground and occasionally got stepped on. This is NOT visible when you wear the gown and there are so many layers of fabric you have to look really hard for it even when it is hanging up. I tried to capture this in the video! Also note that after coming back from the dry cleaners this does need a good iron/steam. I have found the best way to do the horsehair edges is to put a t-shirt over the top and iron them and then the rest can be steamed.

Modern Ballerina Wedding Dress with Beaded Bodice

Alterations

This was a bridal size 12 but was altered down to about a bridal size 10 (I wear a street size 4-6). See my measurements for sizing. It was altered to my measurements in the bodice, the straps were slightly shortened (although they could be let back out) as well as hemmed to my height (5'7"). I chose to wear flat hiking boots on the day of my wedding so the hemming is pretty true to my height. A bustle was also added.
