The Dress

Bought from Foreverness Bridal Boutique for our wedding in November 2023. I wore it for an hour ceremony and for the first dance at reception. It’s been professionally dry cleaned right after the wedding with no stains, just like new. Happy to send more photos if needed. This modern wedding gown with dreamlike elements is something of another world! French lace brings the romance with this mixed-material bridal dress from Essense of Australia, placed atop tulle and embroidered laces to create the slightly sheer bodice with elegant high neckline and striking centerfront plunge. The beaded shoestring straps extend into a geometric, multi-banded back detail that is the epitome of fashion-forward style. Laces then trickle over strong, angular side cutouts for a stunning figure—falling onto the smooth stretch crepe for a negative space element. The dress transitions once again from the crepe skirt to the lace and tulle train, with unexpected scalloping and an out-of-this-world finish.

Alterations

I added bustles to the dress so it’s easier to walk around and dance in (as per photos). There’s also a wrist loop bustle added. Length of the dress was altered to my height plus heels (167-170cm).
