The Dress

This dress is stunning(!), felt light and comfortable all day and photographed beautifully. I bought it from a boutique in Sydney, Australia for a Sept 2023 wedding.

I loved this dress because it was a modern twist on a traditional gown. There’s a smooth crepe fabric underneath the dress with a slit allowing you to walk easily and to also show some leg and shape in a subtle way! Over the top of the bottom of the dress and the top is an textured organza with an asymmetrical bow on left hip and one shoulder off the right - the shoulder can be worn down or you can pull the fabric so that it sits higher on your shoulder if you like. I wore it so that it was more of a strapless look - you can see in the photos. The bodice is boned and I didn’t need to wear a bra (I’m usually a D bust for reference) - it held up well all day. It was such a flattering fit and I felt so comfortable and still me!

I’m usually a street size 8-10 (AU).

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and boxed, and no marks, tears or damages - it is still in perfect condition!

Alterations

I took in the bust area by approx 3cm and it was hemmed to my height (152cm) with heels (162cm). I also had bustles added at the bottom so you can dance easily.
