The Dress
This was our first marriage for both of us. I was 38 and my husband was 47. This dress is the perfect fit for a more mature bride who wants a classy, sophisticated look. The sleeves are perfect for a Cape Cod fall or winter wedding. The semi-cathedral train made me feel like royalty. The train is detachable from the sheath making the reception so much easier. The vail was purchased separately and is also detachable from the hair comb piece. The dress and vail were immediately dry-cleaned and preserved. The box has not been opened since. I truly hope this dress is the perfect one for someone out there.
Alterations
The dress started as a size 10, but due to stress related weight loss, was altered to an approximate size of 6; to the best of my knowledge.
