My beautiful Galia Lahav wedding dress was brought from Browns Bride's in London, the material is a semi-sheer silk tulle with elegant sparkle and textured beaded florals. This dress looks beautiful in the photos, but it’s even more stunning in real life and everything I had imagined my dream Galia gown looking - Glamorous and elegant with the long sleeves, yet fitted and sexy with a low back, plunging neckline, and of course the sparkles! When the light hits this dress it really does give the wow factor! The shine and sparkle was the main reason I fell in love with this dress for my twilight christmas wedding, it couldn’t have been more fitting for the day and I felt beautiful wearing it.

I am a uk size 8, 32DD, 5.5ft tall wearing a 85mm heel.

The dress has no signs of wear or markings as I wore it with the bustle majority of the day.

Alterations

The specialist Galia Lahav seamstress at Browns Bride shortened the train slightly for me so that the dress was easier to walk in, this also enabled her to make a custom veil which complements the dress so beautifully with matching sparkley, beaded florals and scattered crystals
We also added a bustle and a few of the extra flowers from the train to soften the v neck line
The dress originally included a body suit which the seamstress suggested removing due to the delicate thin material so we wouldn’t see the VPL, instead I wore SPANX ultra thin shape wear for a seamless look (as these were cut to sit perfectly with the dress I will also include)
