The Dress

The Danielle Frankel Simone dress is a stunning work of art. The bias cut silk fabric moves like water across your body. It's elegant, chic, and modern, while still feeling absolutely timeless.

This dress was worn for photos, ceremony, and dinner - it thankfully didn't hit the dance floor, so it has gentle signs of wear. That said, silk wool is extremely delicate so there are some small snags in fabric. They didn't show up in photos and it would honestly be impossible to wear this gown for more than 3 mins without tiny flaws.

Subtle pearl bead and hook added to the train to bustle the dress (pictured in photo 5), which I preferred to the finger hook so I could move around hands free. I'm happy to get the dress dry cleaned before shipping but know that you will want to get the dress pressed by a professional (I paid $200 for pressing in SF and it was absolutely worth it) before the wedding, so it may be more efficient to handle it all yourself. I will work w/ you on price accordingly!

The silk wool fabric could easily be worn any time of year - I opted for this style and fabric because SF fall weather is unpredictable. I got married on the hottest day of the year (it was mid 80s) and was surprisingly totally comfortable and sweat stain free in this dress.

With a raised cowl neck, bias cut silk wool long sleeve gown with 5 inch slit at wrist. Open back with scarf draped accent. Fully lined with side zip closure.

Alterations

The dress was altered for a perfect 0/2 or XS fit. I purchased a size 4, which was ultimately too big for me and nonreturnable, so I had the dress taken in around the waist/hips and in the arms. The hem was brought up to hit just above my 4.25in heels, and I am 5 ft 5 inches.
