The Dress
The iconic Long Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th century and the fabric, which sweeps across the shoulders, drapes, and falls from the hip, is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.
From the 2022 Made-To-Order collection in heavy silk satin. The overskirt is custom made.
The dress was worn for 5 hours, and shows very slight wear. The overskirt was only worn for an hour for the ceremony.
It has been professionally dry cleaned.
There is a high amount of stretch in the corseted bodice, I lost about 10 pounds from purchase to wear and the dress still looked perfect!
