The Dress

This is THE DRESS, the one of actual dreams. It is perfect for the unconventional bride, the whimsical, the unique, the standout in a crowd of white bride.
Flowers are handed painted by the designer, so all Willa dresses are uniquely finished. It has a blush underskirt with painted tulle over lay. The bodice is unlined except for the cups. There are beautiful pearl buttons from the low back down to the waist. It skims over the hips and cinches the waist. It breaks my heart to sell but it’s not doing anything sitting in the box in the cupboard.
The flowers are not 3D so very comfortable to wear, I have sensitive skin and was coming out in rashes in other dresses I tried on with 3D attachments and sequences but no problem here.
The dress cost £4,300 to purchase + £500 in alterations.
I am a 32C cup, standard UK 8, 5ft3 in height and 5ft5 with my wedding shoes on.
Alterations:
• Bodice cinched to fit 32C and removable padding added to cups to fill out dress.
• Shortened length.
• A loop for holding up the dress train, attaching to the buttons on the back.
• The dress flows over the hips so no alterations on the bottom part of the dress, allows for some flexibility in hip width.
Wear
• A tiny tear in the hem of the dress, roughly 2cm in depth to the dress length by 5cm. I’ve not had it repaired to accommodate any necessary length alterations required by future bride. Can provide photos for interested bride, not currently shown as dress is boxed away safely and wrapped in acid proof and don’t want to unbox unnecessarily.
• I haven’t had the dress dry cleaned, it’s not dirty and didn’t want to risk damage to the hand painted finishes. You can see a little bit of tan on some places on the inside but isn’t very noticeable so again didn’t think it warranted the risk of dry cleaning. As above, I can unbox and provide photos for interested bride.
The dress is currently boxed with acid proof paper in a travel box which will come with the dress and will also come with the 2 dust bags (one black and one clear).
