About the Dress

The Roma wedding dress is the epitome of drama and passion. The Roma features a v neckline, and with a gorgeous fitted bodice with bra-friendly shoulder straps. The back of the design has a mid v shaped back, plus button and loop closures that finishes 1/3 of way through the floor length skirt. This striking A Line gown is crafted from luxurious Mikado satin that will feel like a dream to wear.

The dress has been dry-cleaned at Syndal Bridal Dry Cleaner's in Moonee Ponds, for which I can give you the certificate, and is currently stored in a preservation bag, ready and waiting for its next day in the sun.

Note: My husband stepped on and broke the bustle loop. This could easily be repaired, but I honestly found it easy enough to do our choreographed first dance in. I loved the effect of it swishing unrestricted.

Alterations

The straps were shortened, and the skirt hemmed.

Note: When I tried the dress on, I said that I was going to wear a hoop skirt beneath the skirt. However, I totally forgot on the day (and did not miss it at all) so it is a little bit long for my 160cm + 6cm heels. No other alterations were made to this dress.
