The Dress

I fell in love with this Jimme Huang Tracy gown described as “Strapless V neck with 2" band on waist. Full skirt with side pockets” because it was so comfortable and flattering and felt like the right blend of classic and modern for my chateau wedding. Then instagram’s algorithm had other plans for me and showed me a dress I loved even more. After trying that one, I knew I had to part with this beauty and buy the other dress.

Unfortunately for me, that means re-selling this brand new, unworn, beautiful dress, but hopefully fortunately for you, it’s exactly what you want! It is completely unaltered, and will come to you in the box it arrived in for me, tissue paper and all! The dress moves beautifully and has just enough of a train without being overwhelming. It also has covered satin buttons all the way down the back but a zipper to make it easier to get in and out of.

The veil in the photos can also be purchased with the dress. It has tiny leaves/petals on it with teeny pearls on them and added the perfect touch of whimsy to this clean classic beauty. All of the photos except the last 2 are of me in the size 20 sample in the store. I am normally a 16/18 and 6’ tall to give you a sense of what alterations you may require. The measurements listed are for the dress in a size 22 which only needed slight contouring for me (a bit to be taken in on the bust and waist, and slight hemming with 2” shoes). (Note: I’m open to having you do an in person try on in northern NJ or Washington, DC - the dress is currently at my mom’s house in northern NJ and I live in Washington, DC, so will pick it up to enable try on before purchase as well! This can also save you on shipping if you will pick up in person.)
