Stunning Pronovias Ribelia satin minimalist gown in Ivory.

The dress gives huge dreamy, elegant goddess vibes! Ribelia’s heavy but soft, flowy silk satin perfectly hugs the body to look insanely flattering. The gown also flows and moves so elegantly when dancing and walking. The gown is pure heavy silk satin with a silk satin lining.

The minimalist, bias cut is classic but sexy and accentuates the waist, hip and bust areas in a classic fit and flare silhouette. I also found this dress was very comfortable to wear compared to many of the others I tried on as it doesn't cut in to you anywhere and the shoulder straps are still delicate but not too thin.

The stunning low back is open, with a sash of draped fabric and a long line of beautiful satin buttons going from the lower back, right down to the knees. The back is still high enough that you don't feel too exposed and shapewear can be easily be worn underneath.

Got so so many compliments and questions on this dress. It’s the perfect mix of classic minimalist elegance and sexy.

• Stunning and elegant long train, which has not been altered or shortened, is approx 194cm/76 inches long
• Simple cowl neckline
• Low back with draped fabric and decorative sating buttons as a gorgeous accent to the gown
• Hidden zipper down the back for easy dressing
• Multiple bustle options and hand loops as detailed in alterations section below

• Wedding photos are shown on a size 12, recent photos are shown on a size 8

Other things to note:
• The measurements of the gown are larger than 'true to size' measurements as the gown is intended to have loose fabric that sits heavy and hugs the body with its bias cut
• Due to dancing the night away on my wedding night, there are a couple of scuff marks as shown in photos that look like very light scratches in a few spots on the train. These have no staining. This is something you wouldn’t notice in real life when wearing as the train is extremely long with so much fabric and may even be cut off if altering further for height.
• One of the buttons has also come off at the back but as the button line goes down so long it would be very easy for a seamstress to replace it or take one from the bottom and move it up to replace.

Alterations

ALTERATIONS
• Minimally hemmed to alter the length as I am quite tall (175cm) and wore 6cm heels
• Slightly shortened shoulder straps
• One stitch was added to each inner side of the bust to add in cups so no bra is needed, but these cups were removed for dry cleaning (included but no longer attached to dress).
• Added loops to the train with multiple bustle options for either:
1. A tucked under bustle (more hidden style to shorten train) or
2. An over bustle (to retain more mermaid/trumpet like silhouette) The train lifts to attach to a button on the lower back (adjustable according to height wanted - see photos)
• Hand loops at the end of train to attach train to wrist for ease when walking and dancing
• No other alterations
