A mermaid gown fashioned from a scalloped interplay of buttercream daylilies, framed by threaded netting atop a light base of filmy tulle that lets the textured lace take the foreground. Cut with quartette spaghetti straps. Beautiful heavy fabric which feels structured and expensive and hangs in a beautiful way. Extremely easy to have alterations done, as the lace is intricate and easy to move around the design.
Alterations
The dress was taken up slightly at the hem as it was very long (and I am 5"10!). The padding was taken from the bust to create a more natural shape.
