Pleated satin, bubbled and collapsed soft crinoline ball gown. Horse hair for skirt shaping and hand tacking across waist and under bust for shaping. Soft internal corset with boning and grosgrain accent ribbon belt. Center back heavy duty zipper closure.
I absolutely loved wearing this dress. Bought as an 8, altered down to be closer to a 6. I am 5'7", and had it hemmed to my barefoot height so I wouldn't trip, which proved to be a good move. Purchased for $8800 including tax, plus $1500 alterations.
