The Dress

Dress has multiple layers of tulle to add a puffy, ballgown-like effect (poofy at the legs). There's a polyester material underneath that touches the skin that is soft and comfortable. For walking down the aisle, the dress has a long train that trails behind and when you are ready to party, there is a little string that allows you to hook the dress at the bottom of the buttons to move freely and comfortably. Beautiful embroidery and beading throughout the top part of the dress and little designs at the bottom. Once you get a close up look, you can see how gorgeous the patterns are. The dress is pretty heavy to hold it up due to the multiple layers, but when wearing it, you don't really feel the weight of it. You feel like a beautiful princess as you walk down the aisle. Also, the coloring in the photos does not do it justice - I took pictures in my room vs outside, the color of the dress has not faded or yellowed, it's just the color of the photos.

Alterations

The only alterations that were made were to add a little bit of fabric above the breasts to cover the cleavage a tiny bit (not fully but to have a more classy look). And a little bit of padding to add comfort and lift for the breasts to allow not needing to wear a bra.
