The Dress

I originally bought this dress in May of 2020 for a wedding in June of 2021, at Margene’s bridal in Boise, ID; we instead got married at the courthouse and I never got to wear the dress. This dress has now sat in box and has never been altered or worn (besides try on at the bridal shop). The dress says size 18 and I typically wear a size 16; this dress still needed some alterations to fit but was an easy fix in alterations. This dress is a beautiful creamy white with lots of beautiful embroidery work on the skirt and bodice. The embroidery has some sequins sewn in that give just enough sparkle to catch the eye but not enough to be considered sparkly. It has a zipper in the back and small white pearl shaped buttons going the entire length of the back of the dress. The straps are medium sized (not small but not very large) they can be worn on or off the shoulder. There are multiple layers of tulle in the skirt that you can take out if it feels too poufy. I’m a mid-size gal with lots in the chest area; the dress does seem to have a small cup area but the seamstress at the store assured me that was a very easy fix in alterations. I really fell in love with this dress; I never thought I would be drawn to the romantic style that is this dress but it is just so beautiful and truly made me feel special like every bride should on their wedding day.
