With detachable long sleeves, draping streamers on the back, and bias-cut silk, this dress truly had me feeling like a Greek goddess, and I got SO many compliments.
Jacquetta gives you a second look for the reception without having to purchase a second dress because you can remove the sleeves and tie the streamers in the back.
Savannah Miller is truly the queen of quiet luxury and putting a unique twist on timeless looks. It has a built-in corset with bust cups so there’s nice support but it’s also super comfortable and I could actually move and walk around in it!
Alterations
Sleeves were shortened about 1/2”, hemmed to be floorlength, straps were lengthened about 2.5” but that’s reversible, bust was taken in 1” to prevent gaping, hips were taken in about 1” on each side. Due to taking the hips in on bias-cut silk there is some bunching at the seams, which you can see in some of the pics
