The Dress
We purchased this satin dress in early 2018 and it was worn Oct 2018. This is a size 10 Petite. We ordered petite at the suggestion of the sales person to cut down on alterations of the length. Length was fine for my daughter who is 5-3 to 5-4 with her shoes, but she took shoes off right before wedding, so dress looks a little long on her. This dress came with a snap in modesty panel, but we made our own snap in modesty panel. (We have the modesty panel that came with the dress. You can see it if you google David's Bridal cummerbund dress.) It looks great with or without the panel. There are wide pleats all the way around the waistline. There is a short train which looks very pretty in pictures. There are ribbons underneath to tie it up (bustle) for a reception. We added a ribbon belt (not included), but any belt (as pictured) looks great. The waistline is very flattering. Very simple ballgown WITH POCKETS and very flattering to most figures.
Alterations
The only alterations made were to the straps. About 1/2 inch taken in on each strap.
