The Dress

Selling my beautiful Lillian West 66241 fit & flare, all over lace gown with a plunge v neck and cut out illusion sides. I wanted a dress with detailing but without any sequins or sparkle which is why I went for this dress. It was so snug but extremely comfortable (I managed a few races on a space hopper.)

Retail price before alterations at The Dressing Rooms in Birmingham was £2,400. (However I purchased off the rack and spent £450 on alterations).

Full length chapel train. Colour is ivory/sand (the lining is slightly nude.)

Dress will be dry cleaned before sale but I was outside in a garden for most of the day and accumulated a lot of foliage! I will send photos post dry cleaning before confirming any sale.

There is also a slight tear in the lace at the back where I got my heel stuck (probably down to the space hopper racing). I believe this could be repaired but is not noticeable in any event. I have priced accordingly however and I am also including my full length veil for free (if desired) which cost £125. I’m open to offers but not ridiculous ones…

I purchased this dress as a sample size 10 and it was altered significantly to fit my petite frame (I’m a standard UK 8 and 5,3.) Please see alterations notes. I can send further photos and exact measurements as required.

Alterations

Length altered to suit 5,3 frame wearing heels.
Brought in around the bum for better shaping.
Bustle loop added.
Straps tightened and brought in - silicone strips added to line for better fit.
Cups readjusted to be tightened/more secure fit.
Waist tightened to suit my frame.
