The Dress

This dress was such a pleasure to wear! A really beautiful, chic simplicity kind of style. The dress was custom made and based off The Brigitte style, however I wanted it to feel more modern with a straight neckline.

It has a corset fitted bodice with internal structure. It has a full pleated waist skirt with folds of silk around the waist and a gorgeous sash tie belt that cinches in the waist with a lovely crisp bow at the rear. The train is medium length and has a bustle hidden inside so that it can be tied up after the formalities are done. I love dancing and was able to comfortably do our wedding dance and have a good boogie on the dance floor when the train was bustled up.

The gown is made from the most gorgeous raw silk in a natural, off-white colour. I was lucky to have the dress made in this particular fabric because it was sourced from London and went out of stock shortly after. The fabric was super light which made the dress very comfortable to wear. I have size 10D boobs and chose this style of dress so that I felt really supported around the bust and waist, and nice and free around the bum.

The price listed includes the veil which is the 'Single Tier Kimberly Veil', also from Moira Hughes.
