I chose this dress for its elegant and flattering front, its unexpected and beautiful sheer back, and its gorgeous train, and I was overwhelmed by the compliments I received throughout my wedding day for the dress and how well it fit me. As a bonus, I travelled 1,000 miles with the dress and it barely even needed to be steamed! I am usually a Size 6 and this Size 12 fit me perfectly. I could have worn it as-is, but I had a professional tailor make a few adjustments (detailed below).
The dress was worn once and has since been professionally cleaned.
Condition
- Used - No flaws or wear

- Crepe fabric
Alterations
- 1) Extra fabric removed from the hip where the fabric was not laying flat
- This did not alter the shape or size of the dress as the fabric was in an underlayer
- 2) Added removable cups
- 3) Added a French bustle
- 3) Adjusted straps slightly so the boat neck would lay flat across my collarbones
- Note: The dress was not hemmed
