The Dress
This was the one! I received so many compliments on my special day and felt absolutely beautiful. The dress has pearls and silver beading/lace throughout (crystal buttons on the back), resting on an ivory cream color base that creates a blush-like illusion. Tulle drops from the hips all the way around and makes up a dramatic train in the back. Look up Stella York 6406 for more detail (note: I did have the dress modified to be a strapless dress).
Condition: The dress was put in a preservation box in 2017 but opened this year (2023) to confirm the size. Great condition overall, just a few flaws. Some of the bustles did fail so there are small tears in the train.
Alterations
Original straps removed to create a strapless sweetheart neckline. Sides taken in a little to a Stella York size ~4 and push up cups sewn in to accommodate a small chest. Also hemmed to ~5'9.5" (I'm 5'7" and wore a 2 inch heel)
