Halfpenny London, Dayton dress with Mayfair overskirt

Purchased directly from halfpenny London on Woburn walk. The dress and over skirt were bespoke altered to fit my body by their in-house seamstress. Brand labels had not been attached to either item but are included.

I have original receipt, storage bag and hanger along with care instructions and handling gloves.

My wedding was short and so the dress and over skirt where worn for approx 4 hours.

Sweetheart neckline with hidden corset in the bodice. Fastened by zip and hook and eye. I am 5’6 and wore 4inch heels (jimmy choo aveline). My measurements at the time where 36E, 36 waist, 40 hips. Very lightweight and ultra flattering. You could move very easily as the fabric is stretchy.

In good condition, a few marks on the skirt and train are still present after being professionally dry cleaned. The small marks are barely seen when worn and completely hidden when wearing an overskirt.

Literally the most stunning, voluminous silk skirt. A halfpenny icon. Excellent, dry cleaned condition with no stains. Two tiny pin prick holes in the skirt which are impossible to find when wearing.
