This fitted trumpet dress was only worn by me at fittings and on my wedding day. When I bought the dress, it was a sample at the salon so it has technically been worn by others. The official color is ivory candlelight, not just ivory. A big reason why I bought this dress was the train. It is long and beautiful, but it does have three buttons to do an American style bustle. The pictures make it look like the neckline has a low v and it does. But there is mesh there that is difficult to see that keeps the neckline together. The flare at the bottom starts in my thigh area, which made walking a bit of a challenge. But I loved the way I looked in it so it was worthwhile to have to take smaller strides.

Alterations

I am shorted than what sample sized dresses are built for, so the front of the dress had to be altered so I didn't trip
I wore tennis shoes on my wedding day and it still felt too long in the front, so this could be worn by someone a little taller than me
The waist and hips area was altered a bit to slim me down, but I still felt like I could breathe in it
My torso is also small so the spaghetti straps definitely had to be altered
