The Dress
The dress was bought at $1500 with $400 of alterations and a $500 veil, all brand new for a total of $2400. I will include the veil with the sale of the dress.
It was only worn twice (once for bridals and again for the actually wedding).
It has not been dry cleaned because it still looks clean (minus the very bottom under the dress that is a little dirt from walking).
There is a missing button for the bustle on the back. It broke when I sat down because of too much pressure. I just didn’t sit down properly (sit completely on the dress instead of sliding to sit).
The bustles make it easier to dance, you just need to practice with your partner the way to step to avoid the ruffles/layers.
Alterations
1. Hemmed
2. Three bustles added (one on each side and one on the back)
3. Shoulders tightened to eliminated falling in the back
4. Sleeves opened up to make movement more comfortable when raising arms to dance
