The Dress

This is a gorgeous, unique, boho-style dress that made me feel both comfortable and beautiful. Although the bottom layer is sheath-shaped, the top is flowy and more A-Line. The dress is lightweight and worked really well for my July wedding, but it’d work really well for a wedding in any season.

As previously mentioned, the gown is two pieces. It has an under slip with a gorgeous design, as well as the overlay lace dress. The two layers combine to create a beautiful boho gown.

The dress has not been professionally cleaned. The bottom skirting of the two gown layers should be professional cleaned to remove minimal grass and dirt staining. Additionally, there is one very small tear at the bottom of the under slip (it isn’t noticeable given the under slip design; see the last photo). The two gown layers can be connected on the shoulder at the strap - one of the connections broke right before my ceremony, but it could be quickly and easily mended (see the second to last photo). There are no other flaws other than the minor ones mentioned above.

The string of fabric to tie around the waist shown on the designer’s dress listing is included; I decided not to wear it but I still have it.

Alterations

The dress was taken it to fit my body which is roughly a size 0: the sides were taken in to fit my waist, the straps were shortened and brought in, the dress was shortened to fit my height - I’m 5’2” and wore 2.5” boots = ~5’4.5” tall. A system to bustle the dress for the reception was also installed. There are safety pins marking the system for the buyer of the dress, but the safety pins can be safely removed.
