The Dress

I absolutely loved my wedding dress. Now it is someone else's turn! None of the pictures I saw online really captured the drama of the train on the Pronovias Frostia Dress. It is really spectacular in person and gives the dress a wow factor. I did not want to lose the elegant, modern, minimalist look with the bustle and I am very happy with what my seamstress came up with. It almost looks like a grecian goddress when it is bustled. I spent a lot of the day draping the train over my arm while I was walking rather than bustling it the whole time. It was a lot easier than I was expecting to keep it up off the ground. It is in a very comfortable crepe fabric that was cool even in 80 degree F heat. The lace is really delicate and beautiful. It made for some really beautiful detail photos. It has beautiful buttons on the sleeves and down the back but it closes with a zipper.

I have had it professionally dry cleaned and they did a great job. I was able to wear spank shorts and they did not show but I needed to get a special low back bra. I really wanted a low back dress but I found that a lot of them did not feel very supportive or flattering because there wasn't enough structure around the stomach. This dress has a nice waist line and panels around the hips that are really flattering. It is so clean and elegant that it allows your to go for a more exciting veil, earrings and bouquet without it looking like too much.

Alterations

The dress was hemmed for me. I am 5'6" with one inch heels. The chest and arm pits were taken in quite a bit. I wear a size 32C bra (occasionally 32D). The hips were not altered at all.
