The Dress

I bought this dress a few months ago but I’ve decided to go for a different style. I absolutely love the modern, unique lace and it has a very subtle sparkle with embroidered sequins. It has a fit and flare silhouette which is fairly subtle. You could have this emphasised with simple alterations for a more figure-hugging fit. Short and manageable train which still looks impressive with the enlarged floral lace. V-back with zip closure and lace piece with popper closure to cover zip.

The dress is labelled as a US size 10/UK 14 and I’d say it would fit a UK 10/12/14 (with alterations). It’s a bit too big for me and I’m a UK size 10/12 and approx 5 foot 6.5 inches without shoes. It is several inches too long for me so would be suitable if you are taller. See my other measurements above. Happy to help with sizing - just message me.

As it’s a sample, it has a few marks around the hem. From what I can tell, none of these are visible when being worn but I imagine they will be removed when it is dry cleaned anyway.

There are a few smalls areas that will need repairs. The stitching around the zip is a little loose, small scuffs to a bit of the lace, and a popper needs to be added to the lace which covers the zip. It is not ‘as new’ but after a clean and a few cheap and easy repairs, it can look as good as new!

It’s still a beautiful dress that feels very special yet manages to be comfortable!
