The Dress

This dress is simply stunning and I am so sad to sell but needs must! I had so many compliments specifically on the dress on my wedding day and think it offers a timeless look.

I married on 20 May 2023 and ordered the dress from a boutique in October '22 (frances day bridal). She was custom made to my measurements by the Jesus Peiro team in Spain and collected shortly before my wedding date. She was worn just the once for an afternoon church ceremony and then an indoor reception.

The dress is part of the current 2023 Jesus Peiro collection (ninfas) and can be viewed on their website (dress 2348). The original design, which can be seen on their site, included a detachable pleated chiffon cape. I was determined to have a bow on the back of my dress so asked if they could change the cape into a custom detachable bow with tails, which they achieved beautifully!

The main part of dress is ivory royal crepe and then it has gorgeous pleated chiffon sleeves.
There are two tails that attach to the back of the dress and they are in the same fabric as the sleeves (they are on poppers and can easily detach, which is what I ended up doing later in the day).

The bow at the back was originally detachable too but the seamstress added in some threads to keep it in place. These can easily be removed if you didn't want the bow.

I also added one or two extra buttons at the back.

My dress was custom made to my measurements and I had alterations done in-house at the boutique I purchased from, this included bringing the hem up and lowering the neckline.
Post-wedding, I've had the dress taken up a tiny amount at the front as my wedding shoes (which where beaded) caught on the stitching of the dress and pulled the hem (really wish I'd been warned that beaded shoes are known for this!).
Side note - I think this dress would also look amazing as a short dress for any brides looking for one.

The dress is in very good condition and has been professionally cleaned. My wedding was indoors, however, I did get walked onto a field at some point for photographs! The only marks therefore were bits of mud along the hem of the dress. This was all cleaned off, however, there are a few very small, faint dirt marks along the bottom of the dress still, which would not be noticable whilst wearing. These are not at the front, but at the back. In all honesty, I felt a bit scammed by the wedding dress cleaning company I used as I've been told by numerous people including the alterations people I used that the marks would easily come out and they've just not done a thorough job on the dress (apparantly dirt easily lifts from crepe material). Therefore you could either get it cleaned again (if you pointed out the area, I'm certain it would be removed), take the hem up further or leave as is. I'm happy to send some images of the marks in question.

For further insight on my measurements day to day...I'm about 5ft5, wear size 8 or 10 depending on the shop and am a 32E. The measurements I've included were done by the bridal shop. I measured my own height with similar heels I wore on the day at home.

I would prefer anyone interested to come to my house to try on and see if it's right for them. I realise it's a big purchase and think this is probably the most efficient way, happy to discuss options though.

I wore a ivory raw edge cathedral veil. Single tier soft Italian tulle by Helen Martin. In excellent condition and pro-cleaned. Purchased from same boutique I got the dress from. Let me know if you're interested in this.

To note on price, all in, with alterations and the custom element, the dress came in at nearly £3500.

If you'd like more images or video, I can arrange just let me know.
