The Dress
Beautiful simple elegant dress. Plain at the top, with the lower half of dress having a thin netted layer with pearls sewed on. Dress was shorted at the front, but train left as original. Dress is size UK 16 but I am a UK 12 and it was altered to fit my size. The train can be hooked up at the back. The back of dress has a zip which is then covered by buttons. The fabric around the top half has some give to it and is a little stretchy. The dress was so comfortable to wear for our wedding in Italy and I had so many compliments to how simple and elegant it was with the Pearl detail, something different to the usual lace dresses. It has been dry cleaned and I cannot see any visible flaws to the dress aside from one or 2 small holes in the netting near the bottom and a few small marks ( not visible when wearing dress ) I paired the dress with the ‘Clara’ rainbow wedding shoe (block heel with Pearl strap ). I am 5ft 2 and the heel of my shoes was 3.5 inches.
Alterations
Length was shortened , waist was adjusted and shoulder straps shortened. Details of sizes in photo.
