The Dress

(THE MEASUREMENTS ARE OF THE DRESS and an estimate for the hips, as I wore this dress years ago before having babies and am not the same size now.)

This strapless, ivory heavy silk satin dress with bead and rhinestone details across the bust and ruching across the waist is flattering and stunning in photographs! The satin gleams and lays beautifully. The chapel length train adds the traditional wedding dress feel, and there is extra internal support added to the bodice of the dress to ensure it stays up without tugging or adjusting necessary. Worn once for an indoor wedding and brief indoor reception. Buttons were added by the tailor, and the bustle attaches to one of the lower buttons that was reinforced to support its weight.
I felt stunning in the dress, and despite being busty myself, did not find myself tugging or adjusting the dress at all. It fits snug through the waist and then flows out, so can accommodate a variety of hip sizes. The only flaws I can see is that the bottoms of the dress where it touches the ground is a little gray on the inside. No visible flaws besides that I can see.

Alterations

Dress was taken in around the waist to adjust to my specific size. I wore a size 10 at the time, and the dress was a sample off the rack that was also a size 10. There was also additional hook and eye latch support added to ensure no tugging or adjusting needed due to its strapless design when it was worn.
