The Dress

Simple yet elegant Maggie Sottero Alberta Dress. Purchased in December 2022 for my June 2023 wedding. Worn once for my indoor wedding. It has been cleaned and there are no stains.

The dress has a cowl neckline with spaghetti straps and a long oval train (about 96"). The rhinestone details on the back and straps add some sparkle to the dress. The crepe material is stretchy, soft, lightweight, and does not wrinkle much even after being packed into a suitcase. It was super comfortable and easy to move in.

I can include my cathedral length veil (108") with rhinestones for free, if desired. I'll also include the wedding dress garment bag.

I am moving overseas next year and hope to sell the dress before then. I'm heading to a humid, subtropical environment where mold grows easily and do not want risk taking my dress and it getting ruined. I hope another bride can enjoy this beautiful dress (it could be a great reception dress too!). I am open to offers on the dress since I need to part ways with it quickly.

Alterations

The dress was hemmed - I am 5'3.5" and wore 1.5" heels. The bust was taken in about 3/4" on each side. The bustle includes a 5-point American bustle on the top layer and 3-point French bustle for the underlayer. The American bustle needs to be repaired because two of the hoops ripped when my dress was accidentally stepped on. Some of the stitches on the front folds of the dress were reinforced because the original stitches were a single thread and could easily come apart.
