The Dress
Thoughtful design details allow this romantic ballgown to combine a dramatic silhouette with an exceptionally comfortable fit. Sheer illusion mesh adds invisible support to an off-the-shoulder neckline, while airy organza makes the skirt full yet lightweight. Ivory embroidery and applique over a buff lining bring luxe texture to the bodice.
The dress was dry cleaned immediately after the wedding and preserved in a museum-quality box.
Minor flaws include a small hole (a few millimeters long) in the mesh near the shoulder. However, it is hardly noticeable because the fabric sheer/meant to be near invisible.
Alterations
The dress was hemmed 2 inches from the bottom (I am 5'6 and wore 2-inch heels, see photos for length). Nude-colored fabric was added at bust to obscure cleavage (see photos).
