The Dress

This dress is second hand, but has not been worn by me. Originally purchased from Brides for a Cause (Seattle, WA), and I absolutely LOVE this dress as it fits like a dang glove, but have decided it’s not the best style for a summer outdoor/hiking elopement. It’s got a nice, shaping structure, and I was not planning on wearing shapewear underneath.
Honestly I’m just trying to get back what I paid so I can put the money towards the elopement dress of my dreams! Also note- I am located in Monterey, CA and willing to drive up to the SF Bay Area!

Things to note:
1. The bustle has already been added so there’s one less alteration already! ✨ there is also a little wrist strap (see last picture)
2. Elastic for the top button of the top three buttons is loose and you may want to have that replaced. Personally, I was going to do this myself since it’s an incredibly easy fix if you know how to use a sewing machine.
3. There is a small tear on the netting by these buttons. This was the only alteration I was planning on having professionally done. But you might want to replace all of the mesh to best suit your skin tone - or just have it removed altogether!
4. There are no hanging straps (it looks like the previous bride cut them off), but these could easily added back on if you choose. As such, I’ve chosen to keep the dress folded to reduce stress on the dress straps since the dress is heavily beaded and is not light.
